About EdTA's Chapter Leadership Summit
Chapter Leadership Summit equips and inspires EdTA leaders to deliver on our shared mission locally. The annual event’s purpose is to provide leadership development opportunities, communicate important operational updates, and to thank and inspire chapter leaders.
The schedule includes ample time for chapter leaders to collaborate, socialize, share information, and network.

Financial Assistance Available
At EdTA, we’re committed to ensuring that every chapter has the opportunity to participate in the annual Chapter Leadership Summit. If your chapter is in need of financial assistance, we encourage you to apply.
Funding will be prioritized for chapters that:
- Have an end-of-year balance under $3,000
- Incur transportation costs exceeding $500 per person
- Face other extenuating financial circumstances
When possible, EdTA sets aside a fund to support chapters in attending Summit. Approved assistance will be distributed via Bill.com, and recipients will be asked to submit receipts following the event to confirm use of funds for the intended purpose.

Hotel Shuttle Service
The Hilton’s complimentary shuttle is exclusively for Hilton McLean guests. The shuttle operates by request on a first come/first serve basis, and guests can request pick-ups and drop-offs within a one-mile radius of the hotel. This can be easily arranged via Hilton’s shuttle app, which guests can access by scanning a QR code upon arrival, or by texting the hotel operator at 703-940-0140. The shuttle accommodates up to 13 passengers and runs from 7 am to 11 pm on weekdays, and from 11 am to 7 pm on weekends.
For metro service, the shuttle only operates to and from the McLean Metro Station.

Morning refreshments, lunch, and afternoon refreshments are provided on Friday and Saturday.

Shopping
Tysons Corner Center (.9 miles) – The largest mall in the Baltimore-Washington area, home to the first Apple Store in the world, with hundreds of stores, fast casual eateries, and an AMC Movie Theatre.
Tysons Galleria (.7 miles) – Three-level super-regional mall with upscale designer stores, eateries such as Wildfire, Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano’s, and P.F. Chang’s. The mall also features a CineBistro movie theatre and a Lucky Strike bowling alley.
