Recognizing Thespian Troupes with the Outstanding Impact Award
We are excited to recognize the hard work of troupes who take the time to advocate for the importance of Theatre in Our Schools with the Outstanding Impact Award. Your dedication and efforts will help ensure students everywhere can benefit from experiencing school theatre. All Thespian troupes who participate in TIOS month activities are eligible to enter.

1. Review the official score sheet
Points are awarded based on various tasks outlined in our official score sheet. Be sure to review it ahead of time so you can earn maximum points in every category! (Note: Only officially chartered Thespian troupes may enter.)

2. Make a plan
Using the tools provided for you in our TIOS Toolkit and others you create, develop a plan to spread the word throughout the month of March. The Outstanding Impact Award recognizes those troupes who advocate broadly – in their school, in their community or school district, in the media, and with policy makers. So think big!

3. Document your efforts
Keep records of social media postings, official correspondence, or other activities. Take pictures of group outings and capture video of presentations you share with other students and the community. You’ll use these to submit your entry.

4. Submit your entry
It's as easy as that! Upload evidence of your efforts by April 15, 2023.
