What's New
- Did you know you can induct high school Thespians and Junior Thespians into the same troupe? Start building a feeder for your high school program and save $129 annually in troupe dues. Induction fees remain the same at $17 for Junior Thespians and $35 for high school Thespians.
- Share troupe duties with a colleague! Designate an associate troupe director for your troupe — who can sign forms and applications, award Thespian points, induct students, order honor items, and access troupe account information. Must be an EdTA member.
- The Thespy® Awards program debuts Musical Theatre Dance as a category for the International Thespian Festival. This signature program is on the official NASSP List of Approved Contests, Programs, and Activities for Students. Plus: Don’t let your students miss the chance to compete for $50,000 in Thespian scholarship opportunities, including the Grace Kelly Scholarships awarded to standout Thespy participants.
- EdTA show adjudications are now open to all troupes, not only those applying for the International Thespian Festival main stage. Have your production evaluated against the main stage rubric to receive educational feedback; high scorers will receive a plaque touting their accomplishment! Submissions and evaluations are digital only, with a $250 fee. Apply now.
- Premiere Communities for Theatre Education recognizes schools and districts that exemplify excellence in theatre education. EdTA member schools can apply for free! Learn more and apply.
