The ITF festivities continued Tuesday with high-energy workshops, the final day of Thespy adjudication, more amazing live performances, and some slightly inclement weather that all our attendees handled so beautifully. So whether you’re with us in Bloomington or following along from home, let’s dive into the day’s activities.
ITO Takeaways
Keep an eye out and you’ll likely spot your ITO around campus chatting with Thespians and enjoying the festivities. We caught up with them to get a recap on their experiences and takeaways for the day.
“Today, I went around asking thespians what their favorite part of ITF was so far, and it was so nice to see how much everyone was enjoying the workshops and the Main Stage shows,” said Arushi Maheshwar. “Most importantly, with all the outages going on today, it was so nice to see how people kept remaining kind to one another and were always supporting each other as well as the performers and technicians in Main Stage today.”
“My day was phenomenal, and my favorite part of each day so far has been meeting so many new people,” said Joshua Cunnison. “The mainstage shows were great, and I was able to go to both yesterday. I competed in a thespy and felt really confident about it. All in all, I had a great day.”
Workshop Vibes
From sewing basics to stage combat, and even dance combinations from your favorite drag queen competition shows, there were plenty of workshops around the grounds at IU on Tuesday.
Thespys Kick into High Gear
In the final day of Thespy adjudication over 1,500 Thespians from around the country showcased their skills in hopes of a Superior rating. We wish them all good luck and look forward to celebrating our winners during Friday’s closing ceremonies.
From the Main Stage
And rounding out all that amazing programming were the Main Stage productions of Between the Lines by Bradford High School and Rent by Rock Ridge High School.
