ITF 2024 Friday Recap

Elsa from Wauwatosa West High School's performance of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical at ITF

And just like that, our magical week of theatre comes to an end. ITF 2024 has been an amazing celebration of community, education, and student work, culminating in our final day of celebration. With performances of Commissioned One-Act and Musicals, the inaugural Thespys Solo Musical Theatre Performance Showcase, Disney’s Frozen on the main stage, and closing ceremonies, there’s tons to cover.

So for the final time, whether you’re joining us in Bloomington or following along from home, let’s get into it.

Commissioned Musical & One-Act Performances

Ahead of ITF, Thespians had an opportunity to send in audition materials for productions of – Reel Times at Somerset High presented by Stage Partners and Marian, or the True Tale of Robin Hood presented by Concord Theatricals. The experience aimed at providing students with a unique experience working with professionals as they developed a new piece of theatre, with productions premiering on the final day of #ThesFest:

From the Main Stage

The ITF Main Stage was transported to Arendelle as Troupe 6903 of Wauwatosa West High School performed their production of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical.

Closing Ceremonies

For the final time, our attendees joined together across two venues to celebrate the achievements of their fellow Thespians, including superior-rated students and Thespy winners, scholarship recipients, and performances from Troupes from around the country:
