2012 election is underway

Electronic balloting is underway in EdTA’s September 2012 election. Members will choose a new vice president and two board directors, and decide the fate of a proposal to revise the EdTA Code of Regulations regarding the composition of the Nominating Committee.

EdTA members can vote online until 8:00 a.m. PDT (11:00 a.m. EDT) September 21, or in person during the annual EdTA membership meeting on Saturday, September 22 during the 2012 EdTA Annual Conference in San Diego.

Members will choose between two candidates for vice president/president: Ben Martin of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Frank M. Pruet of Roswell, Georgia.

Seven candidates are running for two board director seats. (Members may vote for two of them.) They are: David F. Bower, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Stephen Gregg, Venice, California; Lynn Jensen, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Terry McGonigle, Alma, Arkansas; Nicole Morgan, Houston, Texas; Phillip W. Moss, Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan; and Scott A. Walker, Milwaukie, Oregon.

All members should have received instructions on how to log in and vote by regular mail and e-mail. If you are an EdTA member and have not received voting instructions, contact David LeFleche.
