The EdTA Chapter Board of Missouri has recommended Jennifer Forrest-James to take over as chapter director when current chapter director Debbie Corbin takes a seat on the EdTA Board of Directors next August.

Forrest-James, theatre teacher at Parkway South High School in Ballwin, Missouri, has thirteen years of classroom experience in middle and high schools and serves on the Missouri Chapter Board. She would complete Corbin’s unexpired term, which runs until July 31, 2013.

As provided by the EdTA Code of Regulations and Chapter Governance Policy, any Missouri member can contest the chapter board’s appointment by filing a ballot petition with signatures of 10 percent of the chapter membership within thirty-one days.  A candidate vita form, petition form, and instructions are linked below.

Update, February 15, 2012: The filing deadline for submission of an election petition has passed.
