Colleges and scholarships

The Festival is a great place for prospective students to survey the landscape of college and university theatre programs, to audition for places in next year's freshman class, and to nail down some help with paying for college.

Some fifty colleges and universities from all over the United States participate in the Festival's audition program for rising seniors. Auditions, interviews, and callbacks happen throughout the week of the Festival. Pre-registration is required to audition, and college representatives also meet informally with students in the Festival exhibit area.

Thespians who will graduate in the spring of 2013 are eligible to participate in auditions for Thespian scholarships at the Festival. Pre-registration is required.
