Americans for the Arts
AFTA is the nation’s most prominent arts advocacy organization and the sponsor of the annual Arts Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. and a supporter of EdTA’s Democracyworks essay competition.

AEP provides information and updates about current and emerging arts education policies, issues, and events at the national, state, and local levels.

 

*American Alliance for Theatre and Education
AATE is a service organization made up K-16 educators and theatre professionals dedicated to the promotion of theatre education.

 

Association for Theatre in Higher Education
ATHE is the professional membership organization for higher education theatre programs and the individuals working in them.

 

*The College Board
The College Board is a non-profit membership organization committed to excellence and equity in education, with a mission to connect students to college success and opportunity. Included in their membership is the Arts Academic Advisory Committee.

 

*National Arts Education Association
NAEA is the national service organization for visual arts teachers.

 

*National Association for Music Education
NAfME is the national association for music educators.

 

*National Dance Educators Organization
NDEO is the national service organization for dance educators.

 

National Endowment for the Arts
The NEA annually funds a wide range of arts and arts education projects throughout the country.

 

National Federation of State High School Associations
NFHS develops interscholastic sports and activities for high school students throughout the country.

 

National Guild for Community Arts
The National Guild supports and advances access to lifelong learning opportunities in the arts through the creation and development of community arts education organizations.

 

Southeast Theatre Conference
SETC is a regional theatre education organization made up of institutions and artists from ten southeastern states, each of which that has their own organization sponsoring conferences and theatre festivals.

 

Theatre Communications Group
TCG is an organization dedicated to the promotion of non-profit professional theatre in the United States, with over 450 regional theatre members.

Young Audiences is a national network of organizations that offer a variety of arts education programs throughout the country, with an emphasis on bringing together students and professional artists.
